The Next Chapter

Showcasing Alberta's Best in Music, Arts, and Culture

The Water Valley Arts & Music Festival returns August 21–23, 2026, at Fallentimber Meadery for a weekend of live music, camping, local food, artisan vendors, and unforgettable experiences.

Featuring an all-Alberta lineup, WVAMF celebrates the incredible talent, creativity, and community spirit that make our province unique. Join us in the foothills for three days of music, connection, and adventure under the open sky.

A Message to Our Community

The Water Valley Arts & Music Festival was built with one simple vision: to bring people together.

Over the past year, we poured everything into growing WVAMF into something truly special. An event that honored the roots of Water Valley while creating space for new energy, new audiences, and new opportunities for local businesses, artists, and families. What we built wasn’t just a festival; it was momentum for a community that deserves to thrive.

As many of you know, part of our 2025 festival plan was unexpectedly denied through the permitting process. Despite months of collaboration, revisions, and good-faith efforts to meet every requirement, key elements of the festival, particularly the expanded programming, were not approved.

This was incredibly difficult, not just for us as organizers, but for the many volunteers, artists, vendors, and community members who believed in what we were building.

But this is not the end of WVAMF.

If anything, it has made one thing clear: this festival matters. And the voices of the people who support it matter even more.
